MY FIRST BOOK
The first book of my life was my exam project also, so I wanted to do my best. Writing a book is one thing, so I designed the cover, made illustrations, gifts to present a complete package.

The story is about a group of young boys. They do not belong to anyone or anywhere, they are selfish. They are living here with us, in these old flats of Budapest. Probably, They will destroy themselves, before they could hurt anyone else.
Based on true stories and real people. I knew these guys, that is why I wanted to introduce them as real as possible. It was important for me, to enable that we could feel as if we were with the characters in the same room or if we were apart of the story and that we could form own opinions. A story like this is always relevant.
I wanted to make a simple design. Few colors, simple, recognizable caricatured drawings. There were two important examples for me: The simplicity of the 80’s comics and Ralph Steadman’s illustrations.
The final product contains the “before LONDON” book, a gift T-shirt and cup, one poster and one bookmark. The whole package is in a “before LONDON” paper-bag.

This book was a very good opportunity to try myself as a storyteller of a longer, continuous . Because of this, I didn’t want to earn money whit this. So, I uploaded the whole book for free. Anyone can read it, if they are interested in the story. The link is under the illustrations, but attention: Only for adults…and it’s currently only available in Hungarian.
